If you’re getting married in 2019, then this post is for you!

The team here at White Knight Entertainment have researched the latest wedding trends to keep you ahead of the game, and here are seven of our favourites.

  1. The Venue

Rustic barns and venues with character are hot for 2019. Décor and styling is following

a more minimalistic and natural look, which when paired with the charm of a venue with personality, creates an elegant and sleek setting for your big day. Another key venue trend for 2019 is industrial-inspired spaces. Interior design has been industrial focused

for a while now, and weddings are jumping on the trend too. Think metallics, brickwork, and raw spaces, warmed up with greenery and rich colors.

  1. The Dress

Lace is big news for 2019, so expect to see lots of dresses that have a touch of romantic glamour with lace detailing. The most popular silhouette for bridal gowns has been sleek for some time, but the big dress is back! Rather than being layered and heavy, the big dress trend for 2019 is light and airy.

  1. The Flowers

Wedding bouquets and floral arrangements in 2019 are expected to be full of nudes, neutrals and ice-cream pastel tones, with pale pink, blush, and taupe being some of the most popular shades. Peonies have always been a timeless wedding flower, and their versatility means they will be adorning plenty of weddings in 2019. Be warned though, they are generally only available from April to June.

      4. The Entertainment

In 2017 and 2018, photo booths were all the rage, but 2019 brings us the mirror booth! A great way to keep guests entertained, and capture all of the fun going on behind the scenes! Make sure you pick a supplier who provides all of the necessary props, as well as printing options, and sit back and enjoy the light-hearted fun of a mirror booth for your big day.

       5. The Environment

Over the years, we have become much more aware of our impact on the environment, and weddings in 2019 are likely to consider environmental damage more than ever before. Think invites made from recycled paper, reduced use of plastic, and no floral foam in arrangements.

       6. The Speech

2019 is all about breaking the rules when it comes to weddings, so expect to see more speeches from the Maid of Honour, as well as the Bride. While weddings are typically shrouded in tradition, today more than ever couples are breaking out of habit and routine and doing things their own way.

        7. The Scent

Many couples are opting for scented candles, or room fragrances, to create a romantic mood at their wedding. This really helps to create ambiance, and creates scented memories that can be enjoyed for years to come as couples often keep the candles or scents to reminisce about their happy day for years to come.
